Ingredients
- Frozen green peas
- Butter
- Onion
- Garlic
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Potato
Procedure:
- Thaw frozen green peas. Boil green peas and two potatoes and cool once soft.
- Chop an onion and 6-7 cloves of garlic. Add these in mixer pot along with green peas and potatoes.
- Grind them till they become a thick paste
- Heat butter in a pan and add this paste
- Add minimal water if the paste is too thick to get it into a soupy consistency
- Lastly add salt and black pepper and enjoy
Aloo Mattar
- An easy and filling healthy curry option with Roti or rice, Aloo Mattar does a good way of using green peas.
- Ingredients:
- Potato
- Frozen green peas
- Red chilli powder
- Onions
- Green Chillies
- Salt
- Tomato puree
- Procedure
- Boil potatoes and thawed green peas
- Chop onions and green chillies and fry them with jeera
- Add tomato puree to the mix and fry
- Add red chilli powder to this and mix the boiled potatoes and peas in this
- Add vegetable masala, turmeric powder and dry mango powder and let it cook with some water

Spaghetti with Green pea sauce
- Pasta pairs really well with green peas. In this recipe we cook one of the popular pastas, Spaghetti, in olive oil, green pea sauce and cheese.
Ingredients
- Olive oil
- Frozen green peas
- Spaghetti
- Cheese
- Salt
- Green chilli
- Garlic
- Black olives
Procedure
- Boil your spaghetti for 7-8 mins and cool it with cold water
- Thaw your frozen green peas and then grind them along with garlic and green chilli into a paste
- Heat olive oil in a pan and add garlic cloves
- Add red chilli flakes, the green pea sauce and salt and heat
- Lastly add black olives and spaghetti and cook for a few minutes until all flavours mix
- Serve with a drizzle of cheese!
